This sharp tongued young comic has exploded onto the comedy scene. With a knack for winning over audiences
he stands poised on stage captivating you with a combination of wit and charm. So sit back and laugh as he
dishes out the comedy in bite size digestible chunks for you to enjoy.
Dawn Dumont
Dawn got her start as a comedian on stages in Toronto, had some success and quickly moved to New York City
where she acquired a huge credit card bill. She currently lives in Edmonton where she is comfortably
unemployed. Dawn also a comedy writer for CBC Radio and the Edmonton Journal and is a Story Editor for By
the Rapids, an animation comedy series on APTN.
The University of Alberta Dance Club will be at the gala, providing ballroom dance demonstrations. Bring your
dancing shoes!
